Our Marketing team generates interest and awareness in what Pegler Yorkshire are doing by using a range of communication methods including printed, online, and social media, and in addition they explore ways in which to proactively generate business for the company through using our existing contacts.

Our Roles

Our Market Managers are experts in our range of products, and they brief and train our sales teams in our wide variety of products to give them the knowledge they need to share with customers out in the field. They prepare proposals for the development and manufacture of new products which is backed up by market research showing the demand for that particular product. In addition they prepare marketing campaigns and literature for Pegler Yorkshire products including press releases and articles for trade press.

The Marketing Services team source suitable suppliers for print and promotional materials in line with Marketing strategy and budgetary requirements. They organise and attend exhibitions and conferences to promote Pegler Yorkshire products deliver engaging Marketing campaigns both in traditional print media and online.

Our Business Analyst analyses the sales data to help set targets and prepare monthly reports to the board, they maintain the website with accurate and up to date information on our range of products and calculate UK list prices, keeping customers and colleagues up to date with any changes.

Our Proactive Sales team use our existing leads to generate new sales by reviewing existing accounts to identify customers who may potentially look to increase their spend with Pegler Yorkshire. They build excellent relationships with their contacts and this provides them with an in-depth understanding of each customer’s business, giving them the opportunity to then discuss with them additional products which we provide which may be of interest to them. They have close contact with the field based sales teams, and refer onto them the details of any customers who are interested in discussing particular products in more depth, so that the appropriate member of the sales team can follow up with them.
