Capillary Fittings
There are two types of capillary fitting, one where solder is added to the mouth of the fitting and one where solder is already held in the fitting body. Both require heat to make the solder molten, this then flows into the gap between the fitting and tube using capillary attraction, this then cools to form a sturdy reliable joint.
