An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual that can fulfil the role of Business Development Manager for our heating technologies. This role will report to our Head of Product Management
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities including new distributors and end user clients
- Building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements and developing and implementing appropriate sales and marketing plans
- Driving sales for the product portfolio with the support of the existing national sales teams
- Attending exhibitions and customer events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with market trends
- Creating sales forecasts and feeding back into the operational functions to ensure excellent customer service
- Recommend to the Marketing team promotional ideas and requirements to support the overall sales plan
- Accepts responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and others
- Any other duties consummate with the grade and nature of this position
- This role is a UK based role
Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Strong background in business development
- Good domestic plumbing and heating product and market knowledge would be advantageous
- Understanding role responsibilities and how this contributes to the success of the department
- Highly motivated, tenacious and driven
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel within the UK as required
