Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that an efficient throughput process is provided and maintained at the warehouse, from receipt through to order processing and despatch, meeting specific productivity targets.
  • Control, log and record Sales office Queries and returns.
  • Assist with item setup and control within the WMS.
  • Cover for other admin operatives as required
  • Ensure that Queries and Returns are thoroughly investigated and recorded
  • Ensure item volumetric data is current within the WMS
  • Perform all site Administration processes including documentation control, and site performance data;
  • Provide regular and consistent reports to the warehouse management team and other business functions to monitor performance of the distribution centre, including individual performance reporting
  • Schedule of work to ensure that the daily workload is completed on time and is achieved in the most cost-effective way, with optimum use of resources and equipment.
  • Ensure that customer service standards are maintained at all times for both internal and external customers.
  • To take ownership of Administration and Systems issues and resolve them. Including identification and communication of situations impeding business profitability. Where resolutions cannot be found ensure they are highlighted to the Administration Team Leader.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to existing systems and procedures to maximise productivity.
  • Actively work to reduce customer complaints as a direct result of failed distribution processes to improve accuracy and customer. Responding to Customer Complaints, providing reporting back to the Sales Office and the Warehouse Team
  • Accurate recording, checking and reporting of customer complaint details.
  • Assisting to provide reporting information on £5M spend
  • To actively participate in training, to improve on your own skills and the skills of other members of staff. Identify systems, procedural, or other personal training as required
  • Effectively communicate with Team Leaders, Systems & Administration Manager, Warehouse Supervisors and other staff to ensure that colleagues are aware of any outstanding issues, providing regular feedback
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of this position.
  • Accepts responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and others.
  • Understands and follows Company safety, health & environmental and any other Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • Must have the ability to demonstrate excellent data entry skills and communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Software Applications
  • Previous knowledge of Operating RF Warehouse Systems and Processes.
  • Previous knowledge of stock control systems.
  • Must previously worked in the administration function preferably in a warehouse
  • Prepared to travel on an occasional basis to UK Group Sites
  • General level of education i.e. GCSEs in Maths & English
